Photo Backups
Everyone knows you should make backups, but no ones wants to do it. I’ve written previously about my archiving method, and still do the same today. However, I’ve recently wanted to start doing local backups so I won’t someday have to deal with downloading from flickr. Not that I think flickr is going away, but you never know. I recently discovered a new blog where Mark talks about backup options. It’s a nice read which explains a number of backup options. Check it out.
Just to let you know, I use SyncBack (mentioned in the article) for networked data backup and it works great. If you need to do local or networked backups, check it out. It saves a ton of time after you have everything on an automated schedule.

I use a piece of freeware called EZBack-It-Up. It was really simple to set up. I’m sure there are better options, but this has worked really well for me and got me out of a number of jams.
