30 Days Of Photos - Day 1
I told you I’d start this weekend, and it’s still this weekend in the Pacific Time Zone. So I’m just sneaking this one in today.
It was a crazy weekend with turning 30 and my mom surprising me with a visit from back East. I grabbed a couple shots yesterday as we were getting ready but didn’t get to post them. This shot doesn’t count because I didn’t take it today. Fair is fair.
My first, legit photo addition to the 30 Day Challenge is a picture of a stump. I park in a guest spot right now because my garage door broke recently. I’m sure you can see this coming, but I haven’t had time to fix it. So the guest spot has to do for now. Right in front of the spot I park at almost every day is this stump. I’ve thought it might be a nice photo and finally got around to snapping a couple today.
The one shown is my favorite of the bunch because of the composition. It was taken with my Nikon D70 and 24-85mm AF-S at 24mm. The exposure was 1/100 sec at f/8 with ISO 200.
I did a couple tweaks in Photoshop which included only a slight levels adjustment and darkening of the corners a tad.
See you tomorrow!
